New enquiries need a prompt, accurate reply with your fees and next steps, and fee earners have better things to do than type them. Curatum.ai drafts those replies from your published fees and processes. You decide which emails get a draft, and every draft is checked before it is sent.
You choose which of these get a drafted reply. Everything else stays in your inbox untouched.
“We are buying our first house. Can you give me a conveyancing quote?”
“How much do you charge for a will?” “Is the first meeting free?”
“What documents do I need for our appointment?”
“Can I meet someone at your Leeds office next week?”
“Any update on our completion date?” These often need the fee earner, so many firms leave them undrafted.
The draft uses the business’s own prices and policies, in its own tone, and leaves the judgement calls to a person.
Conveyancing quote
Hi, we’ve had an offer accepted on a house in Harrogate for £325,000 (freehold, with a mortgage). Could you give us a quote for the conveyancing, and how long does it usually take?
Thanks, Chris
Dear Chris,
Congratulations on your offer. For a freehold purchase between £250,000 and £350,000 with a mortgage, our legal fee is £1,150 plus VAT. Disbursements such as searches and Land Registry fees are extra, and we will send you a full itemised quote.
Timescales depend on the chain and the lender, and your conveyancer will give you a realistic estimate once the matter is open.
To prepare your quote, please send the full property address, your lender’s name and the names of everyone buying.
Kind regards, Rachel Hartley & Croft Solicitors

More about the Chat BotThe AI drafts and a person sends. These limits keep the drafts inside what your business would say.
Many firms start with new enquiries and fee questions, and leave existing client matters undrafted.
Add a rule such as “never comment on the merits of a case or give legal advice” and every draft follows it. Every draft is also checked before sending.
Details from one client’s matter are never turned into general knowledge for other replies.
Drafts can ask for the names of all parties, but the firm runs its own conflict and ID checks.
Write standing instructions once and every draft follows them. Some examples:
If fee earners keep adding the same paragraph, such as what happens after instruction or the documents needed for ID, Curatum.ai learns the repeated edit and includes it in future drafts.
